  • All parts of plant are poisonous.
  • 50%-90% allergic to oil found in these plants.
  • Poison oak and ivy have three leaf clusters, hence the saying leaves of three, let them be..
  • Poison sumac has 6-13 leaves on each side of central stem.
  • Burning, hoeing, and edging can release oil into atmosphere.
  • Beware oils can be carried by pets.
  • Immediately flush skin with soap and water if you come in contact with one of these plants.
